The Time Travelling Adventures of the Pirate Revlon Scarlet: The Search for Drake's Gold

A time-traveling pirate arrives in Victorian London whilst searching for lost treasure from the Golden Hinde. Teaming up with a young Mudlark, they travel through time searching for clues to the lost treasure. Along the way, they meet various historical figures such as William Shakespeare, Elizabeth I, Benjamin Disraeli and the notorious pirates Anne Bonny and Mary Read. The story ends with a swashbuckling climax aboard the Golden Hinde.

"The Time Travelling Adventures of the Pirate Revlon Scarlet: The Search for Drake's Gold" is the second production by River Productions.  River Productions seeks inspiration for their repertoire from contemporary London, its two thousand years of history, and the river Thames, the lifeblood of the city. From this influence, River Productions aims to produce a diverse range of theatre, from children's theatre to re-envisioned classics to new writing, relevant to a wide demographic of contemporary audiences.

River Productions was founded by Laura Catherine Kressly and Paul Christopher Mooney in November 2009. The two are professional actors seeking to ultimately create a repertory company that produces theatre relevant to a wide range of audiences and provides a support network and showcase for young and emerging theatre professionals.
